Today was our last day at our beautiful house on lake Keowee. This morning we headed north to Virginia! We left around 8am after stopping at Starbucks for a Soy Milk Vanilla Latte. It was the first time I tasted this drink... it's actually pretty good though it's a bit to sweet.
We were off! The traffic was good and the sun was shining. We made a first stop for gas, in this hillbillies gas station. I met this old preacher! She handed me out a pamphlet all about GOD and how GOD can solve all your problems. Ryan was getting scared at this point so we drove off!
Then it began! Marc started being stressed out as he was going to be late for his meeting with the team Quebec coach in Virginia. We were about an hour away, and me and Ryan still had to find a hotel! So upon arrival in Charlottesville Ryan and I were sleeping and Marc was driving. After passing Charlottesville I woke up and I started looking for hotels. We soon realized we were not heading the right direction, and we had to go back. Marc was totally freaking out at that point! He was driving and he was driving fast! This was becoming a little out of hand... But he got what he asked for! He got stopped by a trooper. 80 mph in a 60. 156$ latter Marc was driving slower and we felt safe again.
We then found our hotel. The Best Western for the Charlottesville international airport. Very nice hotel! and 130$ for one night! But hey when your desperate to find a place to stay you take what you can get.
So Marc just dropped all our bags at the hotel and left in a hurry!
Now i'm just sitting in the hotel room and relaxing! We had lot's of fun a the Dunkin Donuts with the waitress.
There that was my day!
