Day 2 and 3

Hi
After our advenutre on thursday it started all over again on Friday. We got to the Washington-Dulles airport, and flew to Miami. There we started feeling the heat. We waited 5 hours to our next flight to Puerto Rico. Just as we were going to board our flight to Martinique we were evacuated from the airport, for a reason that no one knows. Anyways one hour latter we got there and there was no problem getting to our hotel.

Stage 1
2 km in the race I punctured. The change was very fast. I still need to spend lots of energy to get back, and when the climbs arrived it would have been nice to have a bit more juice left. I had to settle for the grupetto.

Here is a picture of our hut. We got three of them plus one for our bikes! Its very humid and it promises to be stinky by the end of the race.

We're at the equator and lots of animals live here, first theres tree frogs that scream so loud that you need to wear earplugs at night. Theres little crabs that make holes in the grass, they come out in the morning. And there are little iguanas wondering around on the huts.
