Started off with a 95km road race and in the afternoon we had a 7km individual time trial. The road race today was good. I felt better than yesterday and I was able to ride with the main group and even try a few moves. At on point the pack split up and I was in the wrong split. Happily in the descent i was able to catch up.
Afterwards in one of the longer climbs i got up on my handlebar and noticed my front tire was soft... oh no! another flat. John and Kevin got up the caravan very fast and did a perfect wheel change. I got up the hill just behind the main group and again I made back in the descent. 2 more climbs left! I got over one very well, I had a good rhythm and good concentration. The last climb of the day it was mayhem! And inevitably I got dropped towards the top. I race down the other side but with the rain that had fallen it was very sketchy going through all the switchbacks. I finished a few minutes back. At this point I will try and do good at a few stages but I can forget a spot in the general classification!
In the afternoon, there was a 7 km TT in the capital of Fort de France. There was huge crowds! And the TT was very short. 7km. I did just ok. Mid pack.
Then we had to wait for the bus for 1h before we could drive back to Trois-Ilets, where are hotel is. SHOWER AND SUPPER PLEASE!

I found those little tree frogs. I wonder if there the ones who scream all night.

<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 240px;" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_CBo-C6SNg_A/SlFRIPQq77I/AAAAAAAAASg/-CWNsSZiYfs/s320/DSCN0810.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5355150633897488306" />

Now good night ! We got to the Washington-Dulles airport, and flew to Miami. There we started feeling the heat. We waited 5 hours to our next flight to Puerto Rico. Just as we were going to board our flight to Martinique we were evacuated from the airport, for a reason that no one knows. Anyways one hour latter we got there and there was no problem getting to our hotel.

Stage 1
2 km in the race I punctured. The change was very fast. I still need to spend lots of energy to get back, and when the climbs arrived it would have been nice to have a bit more juice left. I had to settle for the grupetto.

Here is a picture of our hut. We got three of them plus one for our bikes! Its very humid and it promises to be stinky by the end of the race.

<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 240px; height: 320px;" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_CBo-C6SNg_A/Sk_1NLvDB5I/AAAAAAAAASA/kkZ9EHc1jAw/s320/036.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5354768088804034450" />

We're at the equator and lots of animals live here, first theres tree frogs that scream so loud that you need to wear earplugs at night. Theres little crabs that make holes in the grass, they come out in the morning. And there are little iguanas wondering around on the huts.

<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 240px;" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_CBo-C6SNg_A/Sk_5Zi1hmOI/AAAAAAAAASI/HusPfCUSWOc/s320/038.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5354772699210160354" />

Day 1 June 2nd

So day one of our adventure is over and thank god! Not that were not having fun but i've been up since 3 am. Tomorow I'm up again @ 3:30 am. Here's the whole story.

When we got to the air port the stewardess told us straight up : '' there's no way your bikes are going on the plane!'' After John worked his magic on her she accepted. Luckily our flight was delayed because we were late! First flight is fine! We arrive in washington and run to the next gate to catch our next plane. UhOH we missed it by 30 seconds. When we got to the gate they were closing it. So we were in for a lot of waiting around while Kevin and John worked on finding us a way to Martinique. One of the first scenario's was : Washington, Paris, Puerto rico. Wich would have been fun but very tiring. The final scenario is Washington 6am, Miami then puerto rico and finaly Martinique.

So tomorow promises to be another adventure, I will check back Saturday or maybe tomorow in miami!
Cheers

Thomas

I'll be back for a while !

Hey everyone just to let you know that I' m going to martinique to compete in a 10 day stage race. I know I haven't been as update-full these days. I have no excuse and am working on returning to my old self. With all the training, the racing, the working and the friends I don't have much time for blogging.

So anyways... it's not the first time I mumble about running out of time

Last weekend was the Grand Prix de St-Raymond. It's a 3 stage race. 2 road stages one of 104km and the other 135. In the evening of the shorter road race there is a TT of 12km. The weekend started off ok. In the first road race I rolled in to 9th position, thus keeping myself close to the leaders on the GC. But in the evening, things weren'T going so well. It was very cold and rainy outside. I found it hard to warm up properly, and the officials were running the race late. I got up to the start gate a little early, wich made me even colder. It's no excuse for not going hard enough though! I ended up 12th, only 30secs back. I know I could've done better, but my mind wasn't up to it!
The next morning, the 2nd road race started, and a break got away in the first 100m of the race. Luckily w had someone in it and didn't have to assume any work! The race regrouped about halfway, and then the speed realy picked up and the race started. The groups split in three. Break, chasers, and peloton. I was in the chasers unfortunately. I ended up 10th in the GC. It's not bad, but far from my best!

Granby TT

<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 305px;" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_CBo-C6SNg_A/SgcByagytuI/AAAAAAAAAPY/kj4tMcMPfIc/s320/Poolbike_3.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5334234249265592034" />
Hey everyone!
I haven't updated my blog since I came back from the south! Today was a great day for me! It was the Grandby time trial.

My week had been pretty hectic because on Tuesday I headed to Montreal to pick up my time trail bike only to learn it was an XL! I NEED A MEDIUM. In wedenesday i called the director and he said he'd send me one ASAP to Greg Christie's Ski and cycleworks where i work! It arrived friday afternoon at 4 oclock. I had to build it! So four hours latter and after banging my head really hard on the bike rack I had it done! My position wasn't perfect but i had no time!

Today I left a 7h, stoped in brossard to get my new TT helmet and a pair of wheels my team mate!

Around 11h it started to rain! Then it started to poor! I was luckily warming up under a tent! My warm up done, I headed to the start ramp and it was COLD! Every raindrop that fell on me went straight through my suit, and chilled me!

1300 hours ! GO! I was off... from then on... it was just incredible, i felt my legs spin so fast and so hard!
Anyways I finished third I was verry HAPPY.

Thats my first podium in senior 1 2 races

TD

Hey Guillaume

Here's a shoutout to my number one fan! This morning we headed north to Virginia! We left around 8am after stopping at Starbucks for a Soy Milk Vanilla Latte. It was the first time I tasted this drink... it's actually pretty good though it's a bit to sweet.
We were off! The traffic was good and the sun was shining. We made a first stop for gas, in this hillbillies gas station. I met this old preacher! She handed me out a pamphlet all about GOD and how GOD can solve all your problems. Ryan was getting scared at this point so we drove off!
Then it began! Marc started being stressed out as he was going to be late for his meeting with the team Quebec coach in Virginia. We were about an hour away, and me and Ryan still had to find a hotel! So upon arrival in Charlottesville Ryan and I were sleeping and Marc was driving. After passing Charlottesville I woke up and I started looking for hotels. We soon realized we were not heading the right direction, and we had to go back. Marc was totally freaking out at that point! He was driving and he was driving fast! This was becoming a little out of hand... But he got what he asked for! He got stopped by a trooper. 80 mph in a 60. 156$ latter Marc was driving slower and we felt safe again.
We then found our hotel. The Best Western for the Charlottesville international airport. Very nice hotel! and 130$ for one night! But hey when your desperate to find a place to stay you take what you can get.

So Marc just dropped all our bags at the hotel and left in a hurry!

Now i'm just sitting in the hotel room and relaxing! We had lot's of fun a the Dunkin Donuts with the waitress.

There that was my day!

Cheers

<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 240px;" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_CBo-C6SNg_A/SdaotylhaeI/AAAAAAAAAPQ/EvcfrxoQxUE/s320/DSCN0573.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5320625514411551202" />

Good morning everyone!

Hey nice morning here in South Carolina! I must say it's been pretty perfect, until yesterday. Arnaud, was training with Marc in the rain while Ryan and I were at the house. I was chatting on MSN when Shanie asked me what was hapenning with Arnaud? At the time I had no Idea! She said something about him getting hit or getting hurt, I was startled. I asked her for Marc's Cell phone number and I called Mark who was with Arnaud at the hospital. We rushed to the hospital, Arnaud had been hit by a white SUV and the driver had thrown him in the ditch without even slowing down. The doctors, said that Arnaud was fine and that he should take a few pain relievers and that he should be back to normal soon. But this morning we got a phone call from the hospital, and they called us back in so that they could take another CT scan of his back. Turn's out Arnaud has small fractures in his vertebrae! On top of it they need to take an MRI to check if ligaments in his knee have been damaged!

All in all it was a verry long day! I just got back from the hospital! On the flip side! We've seen what America is all about! I've seen hicks and rednecks like never before! This one girl came in cause she got bit by a spider! SERIOUSLY? And all these crack addicts just walkin around like they came from another world, plus sheriffs coming in to arrest these wiggin people. I learned Wiggin means being on crack!

So to all you folks out there
GOD BLESS UNITED STATES OF AMERICA!

The land of the free!

Cheers

Epic Day!

<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 240px;" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_CBo-C6SNg_A/Scg6qnAjW_I/AAAAAAAAAPI/XOycjG6NHgI/s320/003.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5316563863811087346" />
<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 240px;" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_CBo-C6SNg_A/Scg6qlTR6QI/AAAAAAAAAPA/Zuk-Or11OuE/s320/002.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5316563863352764674" />
<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 240px;" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_CBo-C6SNg_A/Scg6ps1lJfI/AAAAAAAAAO4/efvpGMvaNxg/s320/001.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5316563848195810802" />
WOW! Today was probably the best day I've had here in South Carolina! It started off like any other! I ate a big breakfast and then I got on the bike. We went over to Greenville and came back by making a nice loop! 100miles, hence it's an epic day!
Towards the end of the day we stopped at a fish and tackle store determined to find a way to catch those fish in lake Keowee! We resorted to the last option and the most effective!
We Left the house and went to the Hot hole, its called. It's just in front of the electric dam and beside the nuclear power plant. So you hook the minnow by the tail, tie a split shot about one meter in front of in on the line and you throw your line in the watter and wait! We didn't wait for long! Eric got one after 5 mins. I followed about 2 mins latter and Shanie got one about 15 mins latter. Poor Ryan he didn't get one! He was realy enthusiastic about knocking him out though!
After our little fishing evening we went to Moe's Southwest grill and ate a huge burito with quessadillas and nacho chips. It was delicious! To top off the day I had a Chai Latte at starbuck!
There you go! My epic Day!

Cheers!

FISH!

There is a huge (maybe 2 pounds) fish that hangs around under the dock. THe plan was 4h with six ten minute intervals up a climb. That went fine! It was realy hard but it was nothing compared to the rest of the ride.
I continued over the eastern continental divide... thats me there! I was kinda tired as you might see.

I wanted to do a loop around and back to the house.But I had a bad feeling and asked for directions. That guy who was walking his dog along this little road in the middle of the mountains ALSO HAD A HAND GUN! And he sent me off in the wrong direction. I GOT LOST! It'd been about 100km and I should have been home now! I went back on my footsteps and ended up having a 165km day. I spent 5000 calories! Along the way I filled my bottles at 2 corner stores and a water source witch I wasn't too sure of... but I realy needed water so I took a chance. I'm fine for now!
I also got passed buy a speedbike and was like :''What a dumbass!'' he probably was going 60miles an hour on a small mountain road. Too bad for him... about 5 mins after he passed me, I cought up to him... his bike was in the ditch! He was just standing there and he looked PISSED OFF lol. Good for him he's still alive. I asked if he was alright he replied : '' Thanks I called a tow truck!'' ...you get what you ask for!

Cheers

P.S. Tuesday evening was the Spinners race. This morning after a good coffee and breakfast. We went out for an easy spin... It lasted 3h but i probably had like a 120hr average. Afterwards, we got the bikes and the car ready and we were off to the races! It was the first of the Greenville Spinners Training Races. There was lot's of people( about 150), we were three people from the house, Hugo, Marc, and I. We totally dominated the Spinners. It started off real easy, and the hostility's started about 10k in the race. We were in every single move, jumpin from wheel to wheel effortlessly. It's actually called sandbagging but we had lot's of fun, and it's not like if nobody could follow us! Towards the end there were three guys in front that took about 200m over the field. I decided to bring the pack back to the breakaway, but i actually created a gap, and followed true. I gave it all to make the bridge. After a few moments of recovery behind i took the front and pushed up a notch. The pack was roaring. Hugo bridge up to us, and I was fading. I gave it all at the 1k mark. Afterwards Hugo attacked the group, and finished solo FTW!

Good Race, Good Feelings, Good Legs!

After the race we Cannucks celebrated a bit too much for our fellow Amricans. I screamed out loud, ''CANADA VS USA 1-0''. It didn't go down with one of the guys who answered... '' You race with us you race according to our RULES'' I don't know what we did! LOL but he continued cussing up shit for a while and we turned to the french people who don't understand anything mode.

That's all fur NOW!

Till tomorow... Ceasers head, it took us about 35mins from the base and we kinda pushed it. Got up with an average of about 285 watts. Afterwards the descent down the hill was pretty fast but there was sand in the corners witch made it little sketchy. Riding is realy been great!
But tanning has been even better! I've been working on my tan a lot these days. On saturday, I had an easy recovery ride so i rode shirtless, to get rid of my tan lines. Today after the ride we went on the dock and just sat in the sun for about 2 hours. We also jumped from the dock, about ten feet down in freezing cold water. I heard it's good for recuperation. I have a sunburn on the scalp of my head! Lucky me...Why the H***ll did I shave my head?!

<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 240px;" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_CBo-C6SNg_A/SbQ8m5vw-OI/AAAAAAAAAN8/m6WRvyh3a_c/s320/036.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5310936499610515682" />

Up Wallhala highway

Today I rode 4h and a 100km. It was a great ride. We went up Wallhala Highway, and came back by Salem. During the ride Vince got a flat, he fixed it, blew it up, and it was flat again. After a long discussion about giving out a tube our not, we decided to keep are own tubes because if we had a flat then we were the ones who were going to be F*****cked. Vince got off pretty good, he hitch hiked his way back to the house and went off to ride another 3 hours.

When I got back to the house I made great pasta, with tomatoes, feta cheese, black olives and fresh herbs. I have enough for supper and lunch tomorow.

Curry Chicken

<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 240px;" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_CBo-C6SNg_A/SbBQ-tvPqPI/AAAAAAAAANk/j-LQ6B_fHvs/s320/027.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5309832999029680370" />
This evening I made Curry Chicken. I had intervals this morning and afterwards an hour of easy spinning gave me a chance to look at the scenery. Then I went to work, and things took off slowly in the morning, because there was a snowstorm. The store needed to be cleaned up a little so thats what i did! But after the store was cleaned I still had way more than half the day to spend. So after a few Base Preps I decided to take a few photos! It was very conclusive. Carbon fiber is a very strong material! First off, do not try this at home as you're frame will not be warrantied. The tests that were conducted were dun by trained professionals and no functional parts or frames have been harmed in the process!

First ''LOOK'' then i'll explain the procedures!
<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 240px;" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_CBo-C6SNg_A/SYEw94noILI/AAAAAAAAAMM/1Xzg_95wkSU/s320/038.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5296568476493160626" />
The Seat stay
After the infos for warranty were sent to the company, they told us to destroy the frame so no one could use it and possibly hurt themselves... We started by removing the rear triangle from the frame. This operation took a lot of power, as Glen stood on the bike, and nothing happened! After Jumping with all his weight a few times it cracked.
<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 240px;" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_CBo-C6SNg_A/SYEw9ocJ04I/AAAAAAAAAME/4zI_W4Vi7vw/s320/037.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5296568472150070146" />
The seat tube

Then the bike was just sawed in a few pieces, just LOOK how thin the seat tube is! I took a hammer to it has hard as i could, and nothing hapened! I realy had to bash it as hard as i could for it to be altered!
<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 240px;" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_CBo-C6SNg_A/SYEw9bKOYnI/AAAAAAAAAL8/yiajBFhrh4M/s320/036.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5296568468585210482" />
The full frame

Here is the full bike with the tools we used for our testing. The testing conisted of a series of big blows to the tubes, in an attempt to understand the physical attributes of carbon fiber. In conclusion, carbon fiber is an extremly strong material, and i dont understand how anybody could crack a frame, while using it normaly. Another conclusion I have come to is that, it's probably a lot harder to dent carbon fiber than aluminum, so why the hell would you want an aluminum frame!

So you people who come to warranty your frames, better have a better excuse than '' Hey LOOK i was just riding along!''

The Big Bang Machine

Have any of you heard of CERN's (Centre Européen de Recherche Nucléaire) LHC ( Large Hadron Colider? I'm totaly fascinated by it. It's actually the biggest scientific experiment since man as set foot on the moon in 1969.
Question : Were does the universe come from?
Goal : Recreate the universe at the very beginning so we can understand how it was created
How : By building the biggest particle collider in the world.

The LHC is a 27 killomettre, with 4 buildings around it! It's actually 100m bellow the earth's surface. The scientist are gona fire protons around the tunnel. They will travel 11000 times a second around the tunnel. No one know's what will happen when these protons will collide.

Here's documentaries about the LHC, it's well explained there.

http://tvshack.net/documentaries/Bbc_the_Big_Bang_Machine_2008/

Kinda out of nowhere but hey! I don't like being on the trainer, I can't take it! I should just go down south right now and everything would be great!
This spring I rented a house down south, on Lake Keowee's east shore. It's just near Seneca, wich is a great place to ride. Down in the valley there's rolling hills, and if you go to Georgia there's nice mountains, and towards Clemson there's suposedly nice hills too. I've never went past Clemson. Here are some photos of the house! If any of you are interested in staying at my house during the third week of March please comment and ask about it, there are 5 spots left.

Sunday Evening

Hey
Today, work + Ski + Shovel the driveway + Nap + Supper = a busy sunday!

The ski was interesting though my skis weren't gliding verry well.

Trainer AGAIN!

Hey, I'm a busy person!
I'm multitasking all the time. I'm well set up! I found an old music stand and my laptop sits on it while i ride! That way i can chat and blog at the same time. It makes training a lot easier cause cycling on a trainer is very hard for motivation.
OH! warm up is over let put it up a notch!

So yeah i'm riding! I am watching the news also, obviously, BARACK OBAMA, is THE main subject of conversation. It's good, he's already working realy hard i hear! Lots of foreign policy changes. THe people who back him are also very interesting people, he is suroounding himself with all kinds of people from all opinions.

So its been 10mins! Time go's slow!!!

Today at work we received the Cervelo S3 with the Olympic Rings paint scheme. It's SWEET! Though the chain stays have changed a fair bit, they've become a lot larger, wich does not allow all wheels to fit ( R-SYS, 808, etc), It's still pretty nice. A bit heavier than the Soloist SL with 1.05 kg in a 52 cm but who cares! the UCI doesn'T allow lite bikes!

Oufff 15mins!

Ok i'm gona watch Tour Down Under on Cycling.tv

Cheers
TD

PS Sorry for the mitakes... i'm on the trainer give me a break!

OH Cell Phones!

Just wanted to say that cell phone company's are verry hard to deal with and that i am verry frustrated at the moment.

Other news is that theres only one month left before i leave for south carolina!

THats about it for today, if inspiration comes too me during the day i'll post something else!

TD

P.S. You dont make snow blocks, you just make a huge pile of snow, let it set for one night and dig it. It makes a nice and cosy place too sleep. It's suposedly warm in there... I'll give you some more news and pictures when I actually sleep in it!

OH!!! on thursday it was verry cold... I went to montreal for a team meeting, more news on that latter on! But it was very very cold. On the 417 comming back from Montreal i saw -33 on the thermometer in the car. I've never seen that cold. I was thinking i'd probably die within 1h if my car broke down or something bad hapened. Aujourd'hui, j'écrirai en anglais!

Hey it's been a while! But with Christmas and work I haven't had any time to blog, sorry.
So Christmas was pretty simple for me, I had supper with my family on the 24th and then supper with my family the 31st! WOW verry exciting.
But that's not all. I've been skiing a lot on my new Madshus Nanosonic. They are realy the number on ski brand in the world. No wonder Axel Teichman has won 2 stages of the Tour de Ski this year. The Tour the Ski is like the TDF for skiers, but I have to say that Tour de Ski is not even half the difficulty of the TDF. I've been having lot's of fun waxing my skis, i'm doing lot's of experiences with different kind's of waxes.
On the 26th I did a turkey burn off with the local ski club called Nakkertok. It was team sprints, that means my team mate and race one lap each and relay each other. we had to complete 3 laps each. So here's the story : The race started at 11h. Before the race I was warming up, and I was still learning about doing fast starts. But obviously when they said go, I had a bad start! That was just the begining. I was already almost last and I planted my ski in a snow bank! S*** SH*** SH**T I fell! Now i'm realy last! Then it was Guillaume's turn to race. He had to catch up with everybody and give me the relay again. I lost ground again... and so on and so on... I fell 3 times, and we managed to finish 11th! Thanks Guillaume for saving my honor! It was lot's of fun, I now know that i'm not a skier. But wheneve theres a local ski race, i'd like to do it.

Christmas was realy exciting because I got a Computrainer. I've never liked training on that thing but now I can do it a bit more. It's realy interesting. Spinscan seems to be a good tool, but i'm just learning how to use it.
For those who are looking for a place to stay for the 3rd week of march in South Carolina, please ask me! I have about 5 places left.
Now thats about it, till next time, wich I hope will be soon I will be on the trainer, at work or on the skis. See ya!
TD

Heureusement ils me faisaient. Je me suis préparé, j'ai mangé...
J'ai réussi à me rendre à la ligne sans me faire rattraper.
Bonne nuit
TD

You gotta dig deep

What a great weekend of racing. It all started on friday. I left home at around one o'clock and headed to Montreal to meat Antoine and Yannick. After being an hour a late and meeting with an impatient team mate, we were off to salem New York.
As we were aproching our destination, we felt like we were not getting any closer to anywere. It was verry rural and wild. But we took a right turn onto a horrible dirt road that climbed up the mountainside very steeply. It wasn't getting any better. But as we went up the road we found our place. A beautyfull ''auberge'' out in the middle of nowhere, with a verry nice lawn and magnificent architecture. The night was good though it was a little to warm in the room. The next morning we were served strawberry pancakes with some muffins and scones.
Ok now let's jump to the race. It started pretty slow.I felt really good...for a while. Then the big guys started riding. Up the first climb no problem though getting my heart going and maybe wasting a lot of energy. But then, the first dirt climb was horrible, and packed with horrible blokes who felt like it was best to get off the bike... NOT!!! So got around them and realised the peloton had left! Oh man this is gona be a long day. Luckily I joined a group and after telling them what to do a bit we started a paceline and slowly but surly got back to the main field. I quickly realised that thoes guys are a lot stronger then I am. I stayed put, in the pack. Towards the end, the last obstacle was another dirt climb, I was done. Gave it all i had. Dug real deep, but it looks like it wasn't deep enough cause i was dropped off the back. What a shame. I finished the race on my own. All and all I am pretty satisfied, considering these guys are all professionals and that it was also my first race of this caliber.
Head back to montreal, drop the boys off at there car, drive home, eat, sleep, eat, and leave for Calabogie motorsports.
I have nothing to say about this race! I didn't race smart. I felt strong and wasted it. OVER
So tonight is the first Seenite criterium. I'll have lot's of fun there and i'll race smart. I'd really like to win!
It was a good weekend, but I think I need to learn how to race. I've made a lot of mistakes and it's frustrating to know that I could have done better.

Till next time...
TD

A+
TD

Classiques

<img style="float:left; margin:0 10px 10px 0;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_CBo-C6SNg_A/R_-RvcCeo0I/AAAAAAAAAH4/ussNx7kfwYk/s320/coblles.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5188025539920569154" />
A+
TD

Headwind

I am getting tired of going to Wakefield and back every day so I decided I’d ride the Carp loop trough the west end of Ottawa. No need to say that coming back was pretty fast! It was a decent ride.

I finished my day with work! Were doing the switch-over from X-Skiing to cycling which is a drag. Lot's of arduous work. The good thing is we get to unpack all the new arrivals. And I get first picks on tires and seats.

A+
TD

Rhume?

A+
TD

Bloc 2

Donc l'an prochain 19min 50 serait intéressant.

A+

TD

Green!

Hey
So today I am writting in english. Should'nt forget the team's most important caracter. The man who's life is dedicated to cycling. Jean Yves Labontée. He's are director sportif and manager.
A+
TD

CONFIANCE!

A+
TD
